may remember Frankie Tkach Starnes, as I do, from
our time together at Davie High School, Class of
1984. For those of you who may not know her,
Frankie is someone's mother, someone's wife and
someone's sister.
Frankie has been diagnosed with
and suffers from
Chiari Malformation and Cranial
Cervical Instability. This is an incurable
condition that causes Frankie great pain and limits
her ability to enjoy a normal lifestyle, and is
currently life threatening. She
is scheduled for a serious surgery on her brain and
spine that may help relieve some of her discomfort,
and prolong her life.
While this is a positive thing for Frankie and for
her family, the medical and travel expenses are
tremendous. The clock is ticking, as Frankie
is due to have this surgery on May 01. Her
financial need right now is to raise $9,000.
Many of us have been in tight financial spots
before, and we know all too well that worrying about
money is not a good feeling. And when we are
sick, a positive attitude is paramount, if we are to
begin to heal at all. Please join with me in
